Tierra des Fuego - South Chile - Patagonia - Argentina (Brasil) Date: 2. - 20. February 2006
Travel Guide: Fred Vnoucek
It is an exceptional journey in a totally new combination (therefore limited number of participants). Departing from Tierra des Fuego on the south end of our globe we will travel to the south of Chile where we explore the fjords and bays of the street of Magellan. An inconceivable amount of natural wonders is waiting for you. Surely the highlight will be meeting the giant bowhead whales. The see mammals can be perfectly watched from a small boat which is booked exclusively for our group. Of course wild animals are concerned and we cannot guarantee meeting them. But we chose the optimal travel season and therefore we have the best chances to experience unforgettable moments.
Departing from Punta Arenas via Puerto Natales it goes to the Torres des Paine National Park and further to another natural wonder in Argentina: the glaciers around Calafate particularly the Perito Moreno glacier. Final destination of this exceptional Joe Far Tour are the waterfalls of Iguazu from both sides: Argentina and Brasil! Upon early booking there is the possibility to add some extra days in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
